It would be a shame to have the ability to help others, and not do so.  I believe most eligible donors who don't actively give simply are not aware of the impact their donation could have, and how important - yet easy - donating blood is.  I had the honor of participating in a local group challenge this year to engage some folks in our community and raise awareness about this issue, and through the process learned a great deal.  I was once an occasional donor; but i will not lapse in my donations, ever again.  If anyone in the Orlando area is interested in joining our 8-week rotation, please contact our group at pintclub@hotmail.com.
